Supervising Pharmacist

We are looking for a Supervising Pharmacist for a retail pharmacy. Hours are Monday-Thursday 10-6pm, Friday 9-5pm Responsibilities: • Supervise and manage the pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to pharmacy practice. • Provide guidance and support to the pharmacy team, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications. • Conduct regular inventory checks, monitor stock levels, and manage medication ordering and returns. • Maintain and update patient profiles, medication records, and other necessary documentation. • Counsel patients on the appropriate use of medications, potential side effects, and interactions. • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy management. • Implement and enforce quality control and quality assurance measures. • Stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacy practice, new medications, and treatment guidelines. Qualifications: • A valid pharmacist license in New York • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, laws, and best practices. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. • Familiar with MicroMerchant PrimeRx Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $75.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • Employee discount • Paid time off Schedule: • 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
