Supervisor, Accounting & Financial Reporting

We are looking for an experienced Manager, Accounting & Financial Reporting. The Manager of Accounting will be responsible for accounting functions including month-end closing, financial statement reporting for internal and external use, reconciliations and account analysis, and variance analysis.

Oversees, reports, and analyzes revenue accounting under ASC 606 that include:

• Revenue recognition of various performance obligations (contract elements)
• Contract analysis and review
• Revenue recognition
• Deferred revenue reconciliations and analysis
• Oversees, closes books, and analyzes accounts for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end
• Flux and variance analysis on the income statement and balance sheet
• Oversees and/or produces key reconciliations and analysis
• Meets deadlines for internal and external reporting
• Consolidation of operating entities into the parent
• Management and external financial reporting that includes:
• Compliance reports
• Management reports
• Reports for auditors
• Lease accounting (ASC 842)
• Audit and tax coordination
• Preparation and/or review of PBC schedules
• Reconciliation and analysis
• Foreign currency translation and transactions (ASC 830)
• Accounting systems subject matter expert

Requirements:

• Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting + CPA Required
• 6 - 10 years’ experience including public accounting, mix of small and large organization – Big 4 experience highly preferred
• 2+ years of Manager level experience required
• Documented experience managing end to end accounting close and monthly reporting process required
• Experience implementing financial systems and reengineering accounting and reporting processes
• Experience interacting with external audit and tax firms, banks, clients, and vendors
