About the role:  

As a Supply Chain Due Diligence Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive assessments and perform detailed analysis of target companies from a supply chain perspective. You will play a critical role in evaluating the viability and sustainability of the target companies' operations and driving its integration into the existing ecosystem.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential target companies, meticulously reviewing all aspects of their supply chain operations to identify key risks and opportunities along with risk mitigation methods.  

  • Analyze and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and vendor management practices to ensure optimal supply chain performance. 

  • Assess global logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to identify potential risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization. 

  • Review cross-border trade compliance procedures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards to mitigate potential risks. 

  • Analyze inventory management practices, including demand forecasting, stock levels, and inventory turnover, to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement. 

  • Perform in-depth analysis of supply chain metrics and financial data to assess the health and efficiency of the target company's supply chain. 

  • Provide insights and communicate analysis findings to senior management and stakeholders, contributing to the overall evaluation of acquisition targets. 

  • Identify potential synergies and integration opportunities within the supply chain network to maximize operational efficiency and cost savings.   

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop integration plans, including supply chain network optimization, inventory consolidation, and standardization of processes and systems.  

  • Support the execution of integration plans, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth and seamless integration into the existing systems, processes, and infrastructure. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, brand management, technology etc.) to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives. 

A successful team member will have:  

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management / operations, business administration, finance or a related field.  

  • Experience and familiarity with supply chain management practices 

  • Experience in project management or consulting is a plus 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful insights.  

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel required. Experience with Netsuite or other supply chain management software is a plus 

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a highly analytical and detail-oriented role. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. 

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to accuracy and precision. 

  • Familiarity with ecommerce operations and experience working with Amazon sellers or brands is a plus. 

  • Experience with financial modeling and valuation methodologies is a plus. 

  • Mandarin language skills are a plus. 

Salary: 70K-100K
