Raytheon Intelligence & Space Special Projects Elite Business Unit is seeking an analyst with substantial business field experience that hasn't necessarily worked in the Subcontracts field, who is eager and ready to learn subcontracts organization and develop expertise surrounding government supply chain best practices. The ideal candidate is someone who is able to stay cool under pressure and can meet deadlines and care for competing priorities. This person will need to take in information, ask questions, and seek answers in a timely manner. We are a customer service driven profession. With the right work ethic, critical-thinking ability, written and verbal communication skills, and organizational aptitudes, this candidate has an incredible opportunity to excel on a special team where their contributions will have a huge impact. We are looking specifically for someone who is ready to commit to learning the subcontracts process, including all aspects of administration and management. Below is a general description of some of the day to day procurement activities, but is in no way complete or comprehensive. Much will be learned on the job, so the ideal candidate will need to practice patience, a positive attitude, and willingness to handle a level of discomfort when being presented with the many layers embedded within this profession.
The candidate will analyze supplier quotes/proposals and support the management of supplier performance to cost, delivery/schedule, and quality, technical and programmatic/contractual requirements. The candidate will be asked to compile and analyze industry/market and Raytheon data to select candidate suppliers. The candidate will help compile technical, quality, delivery and contractual requirements and prepares/issues requests for quote/proposal. The candidate will create and analyze reports in the context of managing their subcontracts. The candidate will be expected to interface professionally and consistently with supplier cross-functional organizations and execute to their internal and external customer requirements including government regulations (such as FAR/DFAR), public law, company policies, and procedures.
Job Description:
Create and track subcontract details in Excel, Word, and online databases, as required
Timely completion, entry, and submission of contractual documents online
Report generation and interpretation for customers and subcontractors
Timely responses to customer and subcontractor inquiries
Execution and modification of subcontracts and purchase orders
Consistent internal communication of program and subcontract needs and concerns both orally and written
Administrative management of all aspects of the procurement process
Participate in required training to satisfy both corporate and professional needs
Provide feedback and input where and when needed
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
The salary range for this role is $57,000.00 to $115,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
