Position: Supply Chain Analyst

Location: Advocate Support Center; Downers Grove, IL.

Full Time - Fully Remote position

Day Shift hours, but some projects will possibly require flexibility

Major Responsibilities:

• Value Analytics
  • Completes the initiative workbooks with the contract managers.
  • Executes the production of council dashboards and reports for measuring financial performance including quality and cost metrics.
  • Creates and maintains an ongoing measurement system to track the impact of the initiatives.
  • Supports the site implementation committees by coordinating key analytic measurements of performance associated with the value analysis councils to the site implementation councils.
  • Responsible for completing the clinical and financial analysis when completing product evaluations.
• Contract Compliance
  • Works with contract managers to develop measurement system to monitor contract compliance.
  • Analyzes variations of contract compliance on a proactive basis among all contracts to identify compliance opportunities; determines key findings and recommends areas of priority for standardization/utilization and use to drive cost savings.
  • Develops and publishes key reports for system and all sites of care to address contract compliance and opportunities
  • Provides data and produces reports for contract managers to support contracting efforts with the goal of improving compliance.
  • Super user for contract compliance tool.
• Logistics and Operations
  • Evaluates and improves existing measurement systems through rigorous measurement system analysis.
  • In collaboration with performance enhancement consultants, conducts analytical review of supply chain logistics, procurement, and sourcing, through value stream, and process level analysis.
  • Identifies and integrates disparate data sources into meaningful datasets for analysis.
  • Develops performance metrics for measuring supply chain projects and initiatives. Constructs new measurement systems to monitor strategically important operational performance where no meaningful measurement system exists.
  • Creates key reports associated with asset management of clinical technology and equipment conditions and use; analyzes data through available internal and external databases; performs asset reviews including lease versus buy options to determine best fiscal option.

Education/Experience Required:

• BA or BS
• Demonstrated experience in fact-based decision making.
• 2-3 years experience in general accounting, finance, decision sciences, mathematics or statistics.
• Six sigma exposures.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Excellent presentation skills. Excellent writing skills. Demonstrated experience with analytic methods (analytical thinking, statistical analysis). Ability to build collaborative working relationships. Demonstrated understanding of business principles. Demonstrated, self-directed, results oriented and creative approach to projects Proven ability to problem solve. Effective leadership skills. Significant aptitude and expertise in decision support systems and database design Expert MS Excel. Basic knowledge of MS Access. Experience in data integration & manipulation.
