Job Summary
The Aerospace Supply Chain organization is searching for a talented and dynamic Supply Chain Business Relationship Liaison to lead one of our three top categories spend in the areas of IT/Construction, Indirect commodities (including R&D), and government direct procurement. Our Supply Chain organization manages all aspect of procurement for the entire corporation. We provide the opportunity to be a part of a diverse team that purchases a wide range of capital, indirect and government funded products and services including IT, specialized equipment, facilities services and engineering, design, and construction.

What You'll Be Doing
- Position will help develop and implement strategic initiatives within an assigned portfolio of goods and services, throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Develop an understanding of the strategic direction of the business area of your assigned portfolio, identify opportunities and make actionable recommendations to support the desired future state
- Support the development of your assigned portfolio financial forecasts and budget plans and integrate within Supply Chain Business Budget
- Provide timely input on prioritization of initiatives based on organizational needs/strategy, workload, and budget.
- Lead/Support the RFI, RFP, sourcing, and negotiation of applicable assigned portfolio contracts as required
- Work with business functional leaders to develop requirements and business cases for contract initiatives by conducting meetings/interviews, and facilitating large group/cross-functional sessions with partners
- Keep sponsors, business partners, and stakeholders informed on the progress of projects, issues, risks, and financials to ensure transparency, business input, and collaborative decision-making
- Maintain awareness of current and future direction of industry peers and technology partners, and where appropriate, make recommendations for new/upgraded systems and technologies
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors' or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, and/or related field
- 10+ years of general supply chain experience including 5+ years of specialized experience in one of the following: IT, Indirect spend (including R&D) and government direct procurement (FAR/DFAR knowledge required)
- Technical knowledge, roadmap development & an understanding of the assigned portfolio landscape
- Project Management experience with forecasting/budgeting
- Track record of good business relationships and business value delivery; operating successfully in a matrixed environment
- Experience in a role that required articulating data analysis summaries verbally or via power point presentations to various audience including Senior Management
How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
- Masters degree from an accredited program in Supply Chain, Business Administration, and/or related field
- Knowledge / Experience with SAP / ARIBA (source to pay)
- Experience working in the aerospace industry supporting government direct charge
- Extensive knowledge of requirements/regulations, including FAR/DFAR, to ensure compliance with the federal government
- Strategic sourcing / category management experience
