Position Summary
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Execution Specialist - Livestock is responsible for proactively managing sales order booking requirements, contributing to the team's productivity and throughput of orders, and to look for opportunities to increase automation, simplify, and standardize global processes. The Supply Chain Execution Specialist role exists in other areas of the business, but this will be a new role, specifically supporting our Livestock team.
This role will work cross functionally with Customer Experience (CX), Transportation, Procurement, and Warehousing partners to resolve service critical items. They will also use exception reporting to systematically call out service risks that need to be addressed.
Key Responsibilities:
  • SO Item Fulfillment
    • Provide transactional direction for sales order pathing.
    • Resolve inbound delays that could impact customer orders.
    • Escalate and communicate service risks to CX and propose alternatives to meet customer needs. Follow the issue management process in NetSuite through to completion.
  • Operations and Order Management
    • Manage the open order book to ensure the team has visibility to all customer requirements.
    • Drive best in class service levels for assigned areas.
    • Ensure that orders are flowing through the system within a reasonable time frame and being executed accordingly by the appropriate teams.
    • Propose cost savings and productivity projects that can help provide efficiencies.
  • Continuous Improvement and Planning
    • Participate in cross functional meetings to ensure the execution plan is aligned to overall goals of the organization.
    • Work on continuous improvement initiatives such as order automation to reduce manual processes and improve scalability of the department.
    • Develop exception reporting that helps to highlight areas of key risk and provide visibility on KPIs to the organization.
  • Team Contribution
    • Be a cross functional team player - partner with Procurement, Warehousing, Customer Experience, and Transportation teams.
    • Be a thought leader - Identify opportunities to increase automation and to simplify and standardize global processes.

Experience:
  • 2-4 years supply chain and inventory management experience
  • Seasonal planning or Livestock (Feed/Animal Health) planning experience
  • NetSuite experience (Preferred)
  • Customer service experience (Preferred)=

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
  • American Production and Inventory Control Society, (APICS) & Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification or equivalent (Preferred)

The following represents FBN's reasonable estimate of the US national average base salary range of possible compensation for this role based on market data and placement of internal employees: $60,000 - $70,000.
This salary range may vary based on geography and variations in cost of labor. Beyond the above or adjusted to market salary range, FBN also offers all full-time employees competitive equity compensation, health and wellness benefits, and various perks.
