The Manager Supply Chain will be based at our Lingo location in the Bay Area, CA

This role has ownership of Lingo Supply Chain and is responsible for the following supply chain sub disciplines:

  • demand planning,
  • product life cycle planning,
  • purchasing,
  • production scheduling,
  • inventory management,
  • customer service,
  • freight and logistics and warehouse efficiency.

The Manager Supply Chain is responsible for managing metrics to scorecard our performance in these areas.

What you'll do:

  • Provides leadership and partners with key stake holders across Lingo and broader Abbott to drive process improvement and meet business objectives.
  • Develops continuous improvement cross functional/cross divisional collaboration and execution
  • Develops and communicates plans which ensure entity resources are optimized and service levels are not sacrificed, and adequate inventory exists to support the organization
  • Direct individuals, remove obstacles and implement practices which ensures customers receive product in a timely manner using cost efficient processes (workforce planning, inventory management, purchasing, systems utilization
  • Analyzes team recommendations, then prepares, presents, obtains buy in, communicates and implements annual plans for assigned product lines
  • Identifies and implements actions to maximize synergistic opportunities between all entities in the supply chain.
  • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in In Business Administration or Supply Chain related body of knowledge
