About the role:

Samsara is looking for a Supply Chain Program Manager to coordinate across the Supply Chain and R&D organizations to identify and implement process improvements and develop sustainable and robust best practices at all levels of the Supply Chain team.  This role will function as the responsible party and liaison between the Supply Chain and Operations team and any stakeholders, including; Engineering,OPM, Product, Manufacturing partners, Sub Tier suppliers, Quality, and Samsara Executive leadership.  This is a highly collaborative and visible role that will need to digest and filter large amounts of information into dashboards and project timelines for internal distribution at all levels of the organization; ensuring that key risks, mitigations and solutions are proactively highlighted and communicated.   

In this role, you will: 

  • Drive analysis with internal stakeholders of NPI and sustaining programs, component capacity plans, high risk and E&O materials reports, cost reviews, system integration requirements and other required tasks to make recommendations on key strategic supply chain initiatives to Management
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to collect data inputs and deliver regular strategic project or other high level communications to the executive leadership team while retaining the ability to drive down into the details as needed (Be the storyteller)
  • Define KPIs and build tools, dashboards & processes that support the hyper growth phase and scale for long term 
  • Support tactical supply chain efforts and lead projects with cross functional teams as needed (Be a problem solver)
  • Foster effective communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices   

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • BS in Business, Operations Master's degree or MBA
  • 4+ year Supply Chain experience with 2+ years program or project management experience preferably 
  • Knowledge of Electronics Supply Chain and exposure to/ODM/JDM/OEM business models
  • Comfort jumping into ambiguous Supply Chain situations to help problem solve and drive solutions
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Familiarity with G-suite is a plus
  • Willingness to travel internationally (10%)

  • Concise communication skills and comfort with presenting succinct summaries to executive leadership
  • Desire to build relationships with multiple cross-functional teams
  • Intellectual curiosity with an ability to learn quickly
