Job Description

Your Role:

  • Lead pro-active risk analysis of the supply chain, using digital tools to identify high risk suppliers, commodities, PN or nodes within the supply network
  • Working closely with other functional areas including IT, develop digital models of the end-to-end supply chain to proactively identify vulnerabilities
  • Evaluate product flow paths and revenue impact of disruptions and products that are single-sourced or have a high concentration or reliance single nodes or limited partners.
  • Work with multiple functions and areas of the business to implement mitigation plans that address identified risk and optimize the ability to maintain production and supply when unplanned events occur.
  • Lead cross functional workshops and drive execution of actions to address supply chain risk
  • Ownership of Aptiv's "Risk Value Heat Map" programme, ensuring the risk parameters and methodology are regularly updated to maximise relevance and impact for client businesses
  • Implement and lead a program that drives supply chain risk assessment and resiliency into new program launches so that changes can be implement early in the development cycle
  • Develop proactive mitigation plans, including actions to be taken before during and after supply chain disruptions
  • Provide management reporting on supply chain resiliency
  • Work closely with supply chain leaders across the business to ensure supply chain resiliency is embedded into category strategies.

Required Skills, Aptitudes, Experience and Qualifications (must have)

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering or other relevant field
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years' experience in procurement, supply chain, engineering, IT or finance
  • Electronics procurement background
  • Experience leading supply chain projects in large, complex businesses
  • Able to successfully lead and influence others in a matrix-aligned, remotely-led, multi-country organisation
  • Ability to manage a demanding workload, multiple and changing priorities and constant deadline demands
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong desire to challenge status quo and bring improvements to existing processes

Desired qualifications:

  • Global category management experience, ideally electronics or raw materials
  • Global project management experience, ideally in automotive or electronics
  • Strong analytical skills and use of Excel/Tableau/Power BI etc.,
  • Supply chain certification, e.g. CPIM, MCIPS or equivalent
