As a Supply Manager, you will be responsible for building strategic partnerships, earning new business, growing existing accounts, overseeing service compliance and defining Shippabo’s Ocean carrier strategy

Requirements:

  • 6 + years in Freight Forwarding, Procurement or Consulting that highlight your ability to create, innovate and improve strategic processes and drive revenue
  • Prior experience in imports/exports from a sales, operational or procurement perspective is highly preferred
  • Exceptional relationship building and communication skills to establish and maintain partnerships with vendors
  • Previous role experience that demonstrates your analytical skills and metric / data based approaches
  • Proficiency in various data & BI tools (Excel, Looker, etc) is highly preferred
  • Existing carrier relationships are highly preferred but not essential
  • Availability to participate in evening hours Shippabo overseas calls as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and execute global ocean strategies
  • Develop and manage ocean carrier partnerships
  • Create and manage ocean/partner SLAs and scorecards.
  • Procure and negotiate rates
  • Own pricing strategy to drive net revenue
  • Provide internal stakeholders with regular market updates and other ad hoc reports
  • Enhance and support sales efforts, including joining client meetings and onboardings
  • Identify market opportunities, potential solutions and work with our Product team to build industry leading tools

Benefits:

  • Base salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience/qualifications
