Job Description

Ibotta is seeking an SVP of Finance, Investor Relations, and Corporate Development to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. In this position you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and growth of our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing treasury operations, driving corporate development initiatives, and managing relationships with investors and stakeholders. Your expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and investor communications will be essential in ensuring the company's financial stability and success.

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position, requiring 2 days in office. Preferred in-office hybrid days are Tuesday and Thursday. Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:

  • Treasury Management:

    • Develop and execute treasury policies, procedures, and strategies to optimize cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management.

    • Monitor and analyze market trends, interest rates, and foreign exchange risks to make informed financial decisions.

    • Supervise cash management, investment activities, and banking relationships to maximize returns and mitigate risks.

  • Corporate Development:

    • Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.

    • Conduct financial analysis, due diligence, and valuation assessments to support business expansion and growth opportunities.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess potential synergies and integration plans for successful deals.

  • Investor Relations:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for shareholders, analysts, and institutional investors, providing timely and accurate financial updates and guidance.

    • Prepare and deliver investor communications, including quarterly earnings reports, conference presentations, and other financial disclosures.

    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the investment community, fostering trust and confidence in the company's performance and strategy.

  • Financial Reporting and Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, financial reporting standards, and corporate governance guidelines.

    • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support informed decision-making and transparency.

  • Leadership and Team Management:

    • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.

    • Set clear goals and performance expectations, providing regular feedback and coaching to foster professional development.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.

  • Experience as a Treasurer, Corporate Development, or Investor Relations executive, ideally in a publicly traded company.

  • Proven financial acumen and analytical skills, with a track record of successfully executing strategic financial initiatives.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the capability to convey complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.

  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, driving cross-functional collaboration and managing high-performance teams.

Additional Details:

  • This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, and equity. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals

  • Base compensation range: $200,000 - $400,000. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary.
