Your Role and Responsibilities
The role requires an experienced agile project manager who drives the software delivery release schedule as well as play a release management role in handling all of the release delivery items required for each release. The project manager would also be responsible for implementing improvements and efficiencies in the software delivery process.

Responsibilities
• Understand the business strategies release requirements technical requirements and product management imperatives (including PDLC).
• Actively own and take charge of the project management role within the team communicate with confidence and actively assess potential issues risks and trade-offs.
• Lead and collaborate with global squads to apply project management discipline to shape and deliver quality releases – from inception/planning to final delivery.
• Actively engage with Product Owners Management and Executives from development design and product management.
• Collaborate with compliance squads to maintain and react to legal and security requirements.
• Demonstrated level of personal and cross unit leadership skills; able to scale across teams.
• Extensive networking and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess complex/new situations anticipate potential problems impacts and risks. Develop and implement solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Proven track record in Project/Program and Release Management
• Extensive experience working in the IT industry
• Strong understanding of IBM Development processes including:
o Software Development Life Cycle Process and Tools
o Security and Privacy by Design
o Open Source Software Clearance (OSSC) Process and Tooling
o Product Management PDLC
• Demonstrated leadership/management skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong organisational skills: ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Flexibility to interact with the world-wide team (SVL Kochi UKI)
• Project/Release/Program Management qualified
• Agile Development and DevOps background
• Extremely Self-driven Multi-tasker Strong People/interpersonal skills
• Strong English communication skills (oral and written) comfortable communicating and directing the development team leads when needed confident dealing with management and executives.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Exposure to Slack ServiceNow SalesForce/CSP RTC GitHub and PagerDuty or similar technologies
• Proven written and verbal communication with the ability to converse effectively at all levels both internally and externally
