System Engineer (MSP)

Are you looking for a hybrid position with a small and supportive MSP team environment? SkySail Technologies is looking for a Level 2 Engineer who will help small/medium businesses with fast and friendly IT support, robust cybersecurity solutions, and IT strategy services. This role is in Kelowna, British Columbia working primarily remote but onsite as required.

What you’ll do:

• Perform scheduled or reactive remote support services
• Analyze and solve various IT problems
• Maintain positive customer satisfaction and relationships
• Keep documentation accurate and in good order
• Manage and facilitate the completion of customers’ support requests

Skills you’ll need:

• 3 - 5 years previous experience in IT administration and/or technical support experience
• MSP experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of IT and telecommunications infrastructure, hardware and software applications
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of server and workstation operating systems
• Demonstrated experience with web and internet technologies
• Microsoft Azure/Endpoint Manager environment experience a plus
• Driver’s license
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and self-learning abilities
• Show initiative when undertaking tasks
• Able to work well both within a team environment and autonomously
