The Opportunity

This position works out of our Abbott Park, IL location in the GES General Engineering Services division.

The System Support Coordinator supports a global validated computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), Maximo, for over 65+ Abbott sites and 4,000 users worldwide. This validated system (Maximo), requires support service to manage user access requests, troubleshoot issues, monitor activities, and propose solutions to users for utilization of Maximo functionality. It is critical to have the support in place to sustain compliance, business, and functionality requirements. To provide high quality support, this position is required to understand business objectives of the Maximo program in addition to the business and operational objectives of the customers we support. This support is required to be delivered with the highest caliber of customer service skills available as they are the "face" of Maximo to the users.

What You'll Work On

  • Provide high level of technical and customer service
  • Identify customer needs and provide follow-up and/or resolve issues in a timely and proficient matter
  • In depth knowledge of system functionality is used to identify, analyze, and troubleshoot system issues
  • Support validated system by processing low/no impact change requests, user acceptance testing, validation testing, etc.
  • Provide support to organizational projects
  • Manage ITSM tracking system by proficiently monitoring, responding, resolving, and documenting all support resolution issues
  • Conduct instructor led training for Maximo
  • Create/maintain training materials and knowledge library documents
  • Process user access requests and monitor token utilization

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required
  • CMMS experience associated with Engineering, maintenance/calibration activities is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate/bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to work under limited supervision

The base pay for this position is

$21.40 - $42.60/hour
