The Opportunity 

To keep up with Mosaic's exciting growth trajectory, we are actively sourcing for an experienced and talented Solutions Architect, Financial Systems to join our Enterprise Applications group. The role will develop the business, application, data and technology architecture for the financial management, accounting, and financial reporting business functions. The position will require a strong knowledge of application development, database design, systems implementation and crafting technical solutions to complex business needs.

  • Participate in the planning and execution of system implementations and drive process improvements
  • Evaluate current and new technologies to improve user productivity and operational performance
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of regulatory and security requirements and ensure compliance
  • Develop, maintain, and document all technical design aspects of the financial systems (W/F process, exception handling, technical test use cases, etc.)
  • Collaborate and build effective working relationships across the organization
  • Provide technical expertise to support management of data cleansing / transformation
  • Partner with the Information Security team to ensure all Finance Systems are configured with security best practices in mind
  • Promote the company's technology brand through creative thinking, and constantly raising the bar of what's possible

Qualifications and Competencies

  • 8+ years of experience designing and implementing medium to large-scale business systems and components in the realm of ERP and integrations including banking
  • 5+ years Oracle ERP Financials experience developing and architecting all aspects of ERP solutions using the Oracle Business Suite of products
  • Experience of full life cycle Oracle Financials implementations in cloud or on-premises applications
  • Excellent data governance skills
  • Working knowledge of COSO and/or COBIT Framework
  • Ability to configure and maintain all Oracle Financials applications, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivables, Purchase Orders and ARCS (Reconciliations).  Oracle Certifications preferred (even if not current).
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in all functional aspects of Oracle Financials application solution design, configuration, integration, and deployment
  • Deep Understanding of all Finance business processes, including accounting and corporate reporting standards
  • 4+ years of experience with custom SDLC processes such as code versioning, packaging, test driven development (TDD), continuous integration, test automation, code analysis and code quality metrics
  • A reliable, responsive attitude toward delivering results and maintaining keen focus
  • Excellent teamwork, communication (oral and written) and collaboration skills; executive presence when communicating complex topics to non-technical leadership audience
  • Experience with data migrations and integrations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Advanced financial modeling and quantitative analysis abilities
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Professional certifications and advanced degrees considered a plus
  • Integrations experience with Concur, Carta, ADP is a plus
  • Understanding of consumer loan life cycle is a big plus
