Join us in summer 2024 and we will work together to give you a meaningful and challenging experience in your specialty. You'll be paired with a mentor and collaborate with our staff on real solutions to hard problems related to national security.
The Systems Development Division focuses on cutting edge applications of electrical, mechanical, sof tware, physics, and systems engineering to develop and deploy multifunction radar , and ground command and control systems , in the areas of airborne/naval/surface-based radar , and electronic warfare . Within this role, we perform work ranging from advancing model-based simulation and evaluation , to technology component development , through full system prototyp ing for operation in real-world environments. Particular roles within the Systems Development Division include RF analog/digital systems and hardware development , signal processing software development, real-time embedded processor implementation , and modeling and simulation .
Job Description:

• Perform technical work within project teams, with mentorship from experienced staff .
• Collaborate with leading experts to solve problems in fields such as: signal processing, DEVOPS CI/CD software deployment, object tracking, optimization, control systems, hardware development , and modeling and simulation
• Participate in all project phases:
• Problem design
• Solution discovery
• Development of software and hardware for prototype systems
• Experimentation and data analysis
• System implementation/integration for test and fielded systems

Requirements

• Enrollment in a BS, MS or Ph.D degree program in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, computer science, physics, mechanical engineering, mathematics, or related fields
• Strong academic record and interest in system development and deployment
• Background/experience in one of the following areas: signal processing, computational hardware, RF hardware, software development, scientific computing skills (MATLAB, python)
