We’re looking for a talented Analytics Consultant, with an emphasis on Tableau Server Administration, able to help our customers gain tangible value from their data platforms.

• Gather requirements, pain points, and service from clients on their current Tableau Server environment 
• Provide solutions and recommendations for optimizing their use of Tableau Server and/or Tableau Cloud (Tableau Online)
• Deliver on project-based consulting engagements; help clients deploy, manage, govern, and tune their Tableau Server environments
• Manage clients expectations by leading weekly status reports to clients; proactively solicit client feedback by running working sessions
• Partner with sales team to identify additional sales opportunities within a client; assist with account growth and expansion

Required Experience:

• 2+ years of relevant experience administering, configuring, and developing in Tableau Server
• Experience coordinating infrastructure in cloud-based environments such as AWS and/or Azure
• Ability to provide configuration, infrastructure, and performance tuning recommendations
• Experience with TSM scripting for maintenance and upkeep procedures in Tableau Server
• Exceptional customer facing skills, including but not limited to communication skills and project management skills

Preferred Experience:

• Tableau Admin and Architect Certifications strongly preferred
• Experience with governance frameworks and best practices for Tableau Server, plus if on cloud IaaS (AWS/Azure)
• Cloud infrastructure experience
• Experience in Tableau Cloud (Tableau Online)
• Experience with both Windows and Linux deployments of Tableau Server
• Experience extending Tableau’s functionality utilizing the REST API and/or Metadata API
• Plus if interested in learning server environments for  Alteryx, KNIME, Matillion and/or PowerBI Service
• Previous experience leading teams of consultants to ensure performance, utilization and project delivery
