Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Intern will play a pivotal role in enhancing our recruiting efforts by executing effective sourcing strategies, analyzing hiring metrics, and participating in talent acquisition projects. The intern will engage in extensive sourcing activities to uncover potential talent, analyze the ROI of various sourcing strategies, and assist in organizing recruiting events to bolster employer branding. They will also be responsible for assisting the Talent Acquisition Strategy Director in creating insightful PowerPoint presentations for proposals and ROI tracking related to sourcing strategies and specific projects/programs. Collaboration with marketing stakeholders on the Recruitment Marketing Plan is also a key part of this role to ensure a cohesive employer brand representation. This internship is a rich opportunity for individuals aiming to deepen their practical understanding of talent acquisition, sourcing, employer branding, and recruitment marketing within a dynamic organizational setting. Candidates pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or Project Management, and slated to graduate within the next 6 months are highly encouraged to apply. This role demands a good grasp of data analysis, project coordination, and effective communication, along with proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook for seamless project documentation, presentation, and calendar management.
Essential Responsibilities and Percentage of Time Spent (includes, but is not limited to):
- Conducting extensive sourcing activities to uncover potential talent, utilizing various channels such as LinkedIn, job boards, university relations, and other innovative sourcing channels.
- Utilizing weekly/monthly reports around hiring metrics, with a focus on sourcing data to analyze the effectiveness and ROI of various sourcing strategies.
- Analyzing conversion rates and ROI of employment partners applicants/hires during annual review documentation, to understand the effectiveness of different sourcing channels.
- Updating project plans in project management software for TA strategy programs/processes, particularly those involving sourcing strategies.
- Researching and obtaining information for prospective employment partners regionally, to enhance sourcing partnerships and pipelines.
- Assisting with the management and engagement around employment partners & the TA events calendar management, to foster recruiting events and employer branding opportunities.
- Collaborating with the TA Strategy Director on leveraging technology tools (ATS) for improving sourcing efficiencies and proactive talent pipeline strategies.
- Assisting the TA Strategy Director in creating compelling PowerPoint presentations (inputting information into premade PPT templates) for proposals, ROI tracking, and presentations related to sourcing strategies and specific projects/programs.
- Collaborating with the TA Strategy Director and Marketing stakeholders on the Recruitment Marketing Plan (research, content, campaigns, metrics, etc.) to boost employer branding and attract quality talent through various sourcing channels.
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- M365 (Word, Excel, PPT) for efficient data handling, analysis, and presentation.
- Project coordination/planning/documentation with an emphasis on sourcing projects and ROI analysis.
- Written communication skills/meeting notes to effectively document sourcing strategies, outcomes, and employer branding initiatives.
- Calendar management (MS Outlook) to effectively schedule and manage recruiting events, sourcing projects, and related activities.
- Creating persuasive PowerPoint Presentations for various audiences to showcase sourcing strategies, ROI, and employer branding initiatives.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Current Student or within 6 months of graduation date.
- Preferred areas of study (Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management.)
Work Environment:
Professional office environment. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, printers, and filing cabinets. Remote and/or hybrid work at Pax8 requires all employees to have adequate, secure, and private internet service.
Physical Demands:
Sedentary role; primarily involves sitting/standing
Compensation:- Qualified candidates can expect an hourly rate beginning at $16.00Â or more depending on experience
