Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Identify and implement a variety of recruiting methods to build a diverse candidate pipeline and source passive and active candidates through career portals, job boards, social media platforms, networking events, campus recruiting efforts, and job fairs.
- Work with management to determine skills, knowledge, abilities and characteristics for ideal job match.
- Conduct preliminary applicant screening to gauge interest, qualifications and experience, enhancement to organizational culture, and compensation requirements.
- Schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers and team members to assess most qualified candidates for job role
- Work closely with management on all diversity initiatives involving recruitment to ensure equity in hiring practices
- Ensure proper onboarding for new hires, including prompt and accurate completion of necessary paperwork and HCM processes
- Actively work toward building a diverse and qualified team to support the organization
- Provide training and advice for hiring managers and teams on the hiring process and effective interviewing techniques
- Assist with periodic compensation analyses to ensure salary ranges are competitive
- Report recruitment metrics regularly on all activity, such as candidate diversity, time to fill, and number of applicants and screened candidates
Qualifications for Talent Acquisition Specialist:
- 3+ years' experience working in talent acquisition, onboarding and retention processes
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally
- Strong sourcing, candidate analysis and behavioral interviewing skills required.
- Experience in the continual development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential candidates
- Must be able to come up to speed quickly on company culture, policies and procedures and employee benefits to best represent the company to potential candidates
- Firm understanding and implementation of recruiting metrics to drive decision-making
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and LinkedIn Recruiter required. Experience with UKG Pro HCM a plus.
- Previous experience developing and executing recruiting marketing and branding strategies
