Your domain

As a Talent Manager at Buildxact, you'll play a pivotal role in our growth journey by embodying a growth mindset and delivering exceptional experiences to both internal stakeholders and current and potential team members.

One of your core responsibilities will be to attract and retain high-performing talent aligned with our core values and mission and vision. From workforce planning to sourcing (across the US and AUS), screening, facilitating offers, and onboarding our new hires, you'll lead the full-cycle talent acquisition process for various functional corporate roles, mid to seasoned professionals, and top leadership positions. You’ll also be providing support across various People Experience team functions and promoting a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities and Key Behaviors

  • Deliver a timely, quality talent sourcing and acquisition process to support our growth goals.
  • Continuously review current practice and look for ways to improve the candidate and hiring team experience leveraging technology.
  • Support Buildxact’s employment brand and employer value proposition helping to solidify Buildxact as an employer of choice.
  • Deliver end to end talent acquisition activities including market mapping, strategic sourcing/prospecting, advertising, reviewing, screening, interviewing, technical testing if applicable, reference checking, facilitating candidate selection, providing feedback and onboarding new team members.
  • Manage the enrollment of talent into local benefits as part of total reward offering.
  • Drive all talent acquisition activities through Greenhouse to support data capture, analysis and insights.
  • Provide insights to People Leaders and hiring teams on metrics that support workforce planning including lead times, quality of source etc.
  • Stay on top of potential attrition and upcoming roles to source talent accordingly.
  • Collaborate on People Experience and organizational development initiatives where required to ensure they are relatable, relevant, and scalable.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders, leadership and peers on a range of activities to resolve unique and complex employee support needs and recommended process improvements
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Coordinate, communicate, and deliver training sessions to our People, including supervisors and managers on various HR-related topics to promote continuous learning and development.
  • General understanding of Workers Compensation & Leave of Absence programs (multi-state preferred)
  • Helps with office administration items and other duties as assigned
  • Cultivates relationships internally to really understand team and individual drivers and talent gaps.
  • Uses forward planning to target passive candidates and build talent pipelines for upcoming or hard to fill roles.
  • Demonstrates a high level of empathy and consideration for candidate situations.
  • Inspires others to exceed goals, promoting passion through enhanced employee experiences.
  • Applies sound judgement and logic in handling complex policy application and navigating ambiguity independently
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organization

Qualifications

  • Experience hiring into a SaaS, tech or high-growth business
  • 1-3 years of HR generalist experience will be beneficial to excel in this role including employee relations and performance management
  • Experience navigating HR Technology stack (Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, BambooHR, Culture Amp, etc)
