Overview
Mixbook is on a highly ambitious journey to reshape how people see and experience their memories. As a Talent Sourcer, you will be a pivotal part of building the future of Mixbook. You will drive and optimize our company wide sourcing strategies and toolkit. You will identify, contact and generate interest in job opportunities from passive candidates in support of building out our team cross functionally. You are a subject matter expert in the field of sourcing and a superpower to the Talent Acquisition function.

Mixbook’s (first ever!) Talent Acquisition team is led by Venesa Klein, who chose to join Mixbook full-time after successfully completing various Executive and Leadership searches for our team. Venesa cherishes the Mixbook culture, leads with care, and is always seeking out ways to improve.

Location
Mixbook is fully remote, however this position will need to work Pacific Standard Time. This includes daily 8:00 AM PST Standup Meetings.
What You’ll Do
The Talent Sourcer (Contractor) role at Mixbook is broader than the typical Sourcing position. This is an opportunity to influence the overall talent acquisition strategy, recruiting operations and help design a delightful and memorable candidate experience. This role is critical to enabling Mixbook to accelerate hiring efforts both in the US and internationally by skillfully implementing innovative and effective sourcing strategies.
- Identify and develop the interest of passive candidates for current job openings and build talent pools across functions.
Keep our ATS up to date and ensure there are no duplicate candidate/prospect records
Leverage GEM (Sourcing & Reporting tool) and become a power user who can train others on best practices along with helping to define workflows. (Global)
Deliver Sourcing activity reports weekly
Assist in the development and implementation of Talent Acquisition processes. (Global)
Strategize and implement ways to build a consistent pipeline of skilled talent for the US and Moldova.
Work with the recruiter and hiring manager to define candidate personas and optimize job descriptions.
Contribute and maintain company target list, building out company information to streamline the identification of potential candidates.
Be a brand ambassador in every interaction with current and potential candidates.

- You have been instrumental in setting up candidate outreach templates and have continued to increase the response rate of passive talent via email, LinkedIn message and phone calls.
- Your perspective, ideas and passion for and about sourcing add meaningful value to the development of the newly established Talent Acquisition function.
- You ensure that we are armed with the latest sourcing methods, and tricks for identifying and recruiting candidates as a result of your expertise and efforts.
- You’ve established trust with the team globally both inside and outside of Talent Acquisition.
What You’ll Need
- 4+ years of experience as a Sourcer focused on recruiting hard to fill roles
- 2+ years of experience focused on Sourcing technical roles
- Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms, crafting Boolean search strings, tools & resources)
- Experience sourcing for 5 or more different roles simultaneously
- Ideally, experience sourcing technical talent for international teams.
- Experience Sourcing/Recruiting Full Time Permanent employees
- Data focused, experience leveraging data to inform sourcing strategies both external market data and analyzing sourcing outreach data
- Track record of creating compelling email content as evidenced by written communication and example outreach emails
- Experience interviewing and evaluating talent is a plus
