Summary
Responsible for tax support to Pismo's operations in Brazil and the rest of the world.
What you'll do

Responsible for providing tax support to PISMO's operations globally including Brazil and supporting other global projects as needed;

Preparation and filing of the direct tax and indirect tax compliance obligations in Brazil (preparation is outsourced) and support global teams;

Assist with maintaining and reviewing the transfer pricing policies and calculations as determined by the transfer pricing team including supporting the preparation of transfer pricing studies and updates;

Assist with VISA’s quarterly and annual tax provisions including the analysis of uncertain tax positions and potential valuation allowance requirements;

Provide support in managing tax audits in Brazil and other PISMO markets which includes working with external tax advisors to review tax notices & inquiries received from local tax authorities and preparing the appropriate response to said notices and inquiries;

Provide support to regional and local tax planning initiatives (development and implementation);

Support integration of PISMO into the global tax operation and processes of VISA;

Ad hoc tax projects as required or as needed.
Minimum Qualifications

Experience with major public accounting firms law firms or multinational corporations;

Experience dealing with Brazil tax issues for multinational corporations;

Advanced English (C1C2);

Experience with transfer pricing;

Strong accounting and analytical skills with the ability to research tax law and apply it;

Desirable experience with VAT;

Desirable advanced Spanish.
