Join us! The GoFundMe team is searching for our next Technical Lead who is interested in changing the lives of millions of people for the better and having a real impact on our products' users!

• Rapidly iterate on product and platform features by writing reliable and readable code with an emphasis on scalability
• Provide technical project leadership to an amazing internal tools engineering team
• Be involved in all stages of development, from design through implementation and testing
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices
• Ensure technical issues are quickly resolved and implement strategies/solutions to help reduce the likelihood of recurrence
• Advocate for improvements to the codebase and provide leadership to others within your team
• Identify opportunities for innovation and provide an assessment of obstacles and technical hurdles
• Interface directly with internal clients to understand their humans needs as well as the technical requirements

You…

• 10+ years of full-stack engineering experience
• Experience with Neo4j or Kafka
• Knowledge of web fundamentals: OWASP,  HTML, CSS, & JavaScript
• Solid experience with one or more dynamic languages such as Python, PHP, or Ruby
• Know your way around a SQL query
• Experience working in an agile, intensely iterative software development process.
• Strong communication skills, including written documentation
• Work collaboratively with a highly engaged team
