Technical Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Consultant based in India.

This role sits at the intersection of technology, commerce, and customer experience, driving the successful implementation of advanced product discovery solutions for global enterprise clients. You will act as the primary technical owner during onboarding and enhancement projects, translating complex business needs into scalable and high-performing integrations. The role involves working across APIs, product feeds, tracking systems, and merchandising configurations to ensure seamless deployments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including solution architects, engineers, and client stakeholders across multiple regions. Operating in a fast-paced, virtual-first environment, you will play a key role in ensuring successful go-lives and measurable customer impact. You will lead the end-to-end technical delivery of product discovery implementations, ensuring successful integration from kickoff through go-live and post-launch transition. Your responsibilities include:

• Owning technical implementation workstreams, including product feeds, API integrations, and tracking setup using web SDKs and pixel-based instrumentation.
• Translating business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with solution architects and client developers.
• Guiding clients on e-commerce data modeling, search and recommendation configuration, and merchandising setup within the platform.
• Ensuring integration quality through validation of feeds, APIs, events, and dashboard configurations prior to go-live.
• Supporting cutover activities, monitoring system performance during launch, and resolving critical issues in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Acting as a technical advisor across stakeholders, ensuring alignment between business goals and implemented solutions.
• Contributing to documentation, internal best practices, and continuous improvement of implementation processes.

Requirements

You bring strong technical consulting experience with a background in SaaS, e-commerce, or martech environments, combined with a consultative, client-facing mindset. Key requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or similar client-facing technical roles.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and JSON-based integrations.
• Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe/Magento, or similar systems.
• Familiarity with search, recommendation, or personalization technologies and large-scale data-driven systems.
• Ability to debug integrations using logs, browser tools, and API diagnostics.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in agile environments, managing multiple stakeholders, and delivering under tight timelines.
