As our new team lead engineer on our team, you will be working with a talented, passionate, and collaborative team of engineers, product managers and experience designers to transform the ways our customers can incorporate world class software development practices into their no-code application lifecycle. Your impact will enable a new programming language within the no-code platform space.
Some of the team's upcoming engineering challenges:
  • Build a language describing the Quickbase application and workflow automation schema to enable Business App Builders to implement SDLC best practices without the complexity of software development:
    • Design the domain specific language
    • Design and build the translation layer between Quickbase application and workflow automation schema and the domain specific language
  • Continue building and scaling a robust and enterprise ready Governance capability for Quickbase's application development platform

You at Quickbase:
  • You are an awesome human being, always willing to help, a good listener, and passionate about building trustful relationships
  • You have at least 5 years of full-stack (or backend) software engineering experience in a production environment
  • You are a technical engineering leader with a proven record
  • You like your profession: stay up to date with industry standards, discover new ways to improve
  • You are customer obsessed and derive job satisfaction from delighting people with products you build
  • Solid understanding of unit testing, fault tolerance, data structures, and object-oriented principles
  • You enjoy coaching and mentoring fellow engineers

Unique Interactions in our Software Ecosystem That Can Help:
  • Background in cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Experience with .Net, C++
