As a Tech PM Discipline Manager at Bungie, you will guide other Tech PMs on best practices for identifying and mitigating risks, developing scalable and sustainable processes, and collaboratively resolving misalignments. You will exemplify quality people management, acting as the first point of contact for management escalations. Most importantly, you will work with a fun and dedicated team devoted to creating a world-class game development studio.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Production Discipline Director and People Team to support people development processes
- Manage eight to ten Tech PMs, providing support, skill mentorship, constructive feedback, and career development coaching
- Build the Tech PM org’s development programs to grow and continuously improve our employees’ skills and capabilities
- Collaborate with other Tech PMs to consolidate, upgrade, and scale the org’s processes and best practices
- Proactively work to assess and resolve Tech PM org health risks, challenges, and succession narratives
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience with people management and mentorship in a leadership role
- Comfortable communicating with reports, customers, and leadership about difficult topics
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
- Â Empathy for technical people and teams
- Ability to deconstruct a complicated interpersonal and / or technical issue into actionable items
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Â Familiarity with agile development and a proven track record of applying agile concepts and practices
- Â Experience leading (managing, mentoring, or guiding) others through planning, developing, and shipping
- Â Experience working on live (including developer-facing) products ("software as a service")

- 20 days of accrued time-off in the form of PTO and sabbatical days, depending on the level of the position
- 10 paid Floating Days annually, prorated in the first year of employment based on start date
