Technical Program Manager
Job Description
How you'll make an impact:The Technical Program Manager will work collaboratively with Engineering, DevOps, IT and cross-functionally across the company to achieve company and organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results. To thrive in this role, you must have strong technical aptitude and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines with an Agile mindset.
- Work alongside engineers, product managers, key technical stakeholders, and cross-functionally to structure, organize, and define several related and interconnected projects into Programs that support top company business objectives.
- Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and Engineering to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, project plan, execution plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
- Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
- Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
- 5+ years' experience working as a technical program manager or project manager in an Agile environment
- Experience describing features and/or system details and communicating technical information effectively
- Experience in delivering technical programs / projects with cross-functional impacts from inception to delivery
- Requires a strong technical aptitude and ability to identify risks and risk mitigation related to long-term impacts of program, project, and technical decisions
- Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
- Previous experience as a SCRUM Master
- Expert technical knowledge of Microsoft Office
