ROLE OVERVIEW

Bringing scientists’ cutting-edge science to market requires software that ships with high quality meeting compliance requirements to ensure it is safe and meets its intended use. As a technical program manager for GXP, you will be responsible for defining and driving programs to deliver on product, introduce/change processes and drive quality requirements of Benchling’s SaaS products across a Engineering, Product, Customer Solutions and Compliance teams. 

YOUR IMPACT 
  • Define and lead GXP programs for the Validate Cloud offering in partnership with EPD management teams
  • Become The GXP contact for internal engineering teams
  • Own business & program reviews with leadership, providing exec level updates
  • Drive adoption on Benchling’s Validated Cloud offering in partnership with Sales teams.
  • Define and drive success metrics in partnership with PM, Eng & Data teams
  • Work with EPD Operations and Leadership to pioneer processes and procedures to plan and execute on program level initiatives at scale.
  • Be a champion and educator of pragmatic blend of both program management and agile scrum practices.
  • Build relationships across the company and facilitate collaboration & communication between groups to deliver on LRP goals
  • Be a force multiplier to help the company and business scale
ABOUT YOU 

Must haves

  • 10+ years of Program management with experience from planning to release to build  engineering systems that include infrastructure, platform & product and executing on running long-range efforts. Experience leading cross-discipline teams on large projects.
  • Strong technical experience with cloud infrastructure, large scale systems, converting customer/engineering pain into tooling experiences to bring efficiencies. Bonus points for past Engineering experience.
  • Hands-on involvement in delivering frameworks, tools, and processes that lead to improved operational efficiencies
  • Self-motivated, independent, and proactive with outstanding communication skills, detail oriented.
  • Highly developed drive to improve how things work, with proven track record of driving dramatic improvements for team quality, performance, agility, or effectiveness.

  • Experience driving compliance across engineering teams
  • Experience working in life sciences
  • Engineering experience as a manager/leader

SALARY RANGE

Benchling takes a market-based approach to pay.  The candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, interview performance, and work location. For this role the base salary range is:

Zone 1: $194,559 - $248,630
