The Windows Devices and Shell Team is responsible for delivering seamless and integratedAI experiences inWindows for consumers, information workers, frontline workers,gamers,andothers.

We are looking fora Technical Program Manager II to create delightful experiences that help accelerate people's productivity with the power of AI.

Qualifications:

Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • Passion for working with customers and advocating for them .
  • Experience working directly with engineering, design, and quality disciplines.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, motivate others, and create a positive team culture.
Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to build world-class user experiences for Windows.
  • Work across disciplines (Design, Engineering, User Research, Data Science, Quality, and others) to create product roadmaps aligned with Microsoft's corporate and divisional strategies.
  • Create a detailed plan for each experience to ensure it meets all requirements and goals of stakeholders.
  • Organize and present program plans, reviews, and status to engineering and senior management.
  • Use data analytics and experimentation to generate insights and make design decisions.
  • Collaborate across teams, resolving issues regardless of team boundaries, to uncover and mitigate risks and deliver excellent experiences for Windows users.
