The Datacenter Integration Services (DCIS) team is part of CO+I Office of the CTO. DCIS's vision is to ensure Microsoft can deploy and operate cloud infrastructure for any offering, at any time, in any location, at any scale. DCIS is a core team that is integral to the planning, development, deployment, and intelligent operations of innovative technologies and offerings such as immersion cooling , the fastest public cloud supercomputers and for customers running their mission critical workloads or providing unique AI offerings such as Azure OpenAI service . DCIS is looking for a Technical Program Manager to manage the full lifecycle of cloud infrastructure programs for the Microsoft Cloud. Successful candidates will have a proven capability with program management, strong organizational skills and experience leading culture and change management. This role requires someone who has a strategic mindset with a good understanding of hardware development processes. Collaboration, influencing without authority and adaptability across a wide group of stakeholders from are core competencies essential to success in this role.

- Represent CO+I as the subject matter expert across concept to live phases of Microsoft Cloud hardware product development and new product introduction processes.
- Collaborate with SME's across Datacenter Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Serviceability, Diagnostics and Operations teams within CO+I and across the Cloud Hardware Infrastructure Engineering organization to incorporate requirements across the new product introduction development processes and phase gates.
- Lead a virtual team of functional leads to land on a clear plan of record and ensure alignment across stakeholders on core CO+I requirements.
- Lead ad hoc and continuous improvement programs, initiatives or projects across CO+I and Microsoft.
- Conduct and document technical and operational risk assessments, drive tradeoffs and document decisions within and across teams.
- Drives accountability for decisions and deliverables with partner teams throughout the NPI lifecycle.
- Effectively and regularly track, manage, and communicate CO+I related program status, risks, dependencies, schedules, and milestones to leadership teams.
- Ensure CO+I related requirements documents and specifications are updated as DC and HW technology evolves and new concepts are approved.
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development or equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 2+ years of hands on experience with using tools such as Azure DevOps, PowerBI, SQL/Kusto or equivalent
- Masters degree in an Computer Science, Program Management or related discipline
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, assess opportunities and develop principles to prioritize multiple strategic and tactical options, and drive issues to closure with a high bar on quality
- Proven ability to work and collaborate with a wide range of business and engineering stakeholders to achieve results and impact
- Growth Mindset - a desire to learn, improve, and show persistence in the face of setbacks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and comfortable presenting to diverse set of stakeholders.

Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets (see below). The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role (except as noted below); the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate's primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role. Benefits/perks listed here may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others. U.S.-based employees also receive, per calendar year, up to 10 scheduled paid holidays, and up to 80 hours Holistic Health Time Off. Additionally, hourly/non-exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid vacation time, and salaried/exempt employees have Discretionary Time Off (DTO).
