Technical Project Manager

Position Overview 

We are looking for a Security Systems Technical Project Manager for a leading entertainment company.

This role will be responsible for the continuous improvement of our Client’s Genetec environment through the research and development of cutting edge integrations that will streamline operations throughout our Client’s security program.

Essential Job Functions

- Lead the research, evaluation, and selection of the latest security systems technology offerings.

- Create technical documentation, workflows, and training guides and lead end user training.

- Provide expert level consultation and technical services on all aspects of security systems.

- Lead the research and evaluation of potential upgrades to existing security systems to increase efficiencies.

- Ensure uptime optimization for Client’s security systems globally.

- Provide security compliance recommendations.

- Manage the full life cycle of technical projects. 

Required Skills and Experience

- Genetec certified. 

- 3+ years of experience supporting or leading enterprise wide security applications.

Technical degree and/or relevant industry/software certifications.

- Expert understanding of the following: Genetec Stratocast, Genetec Synergist, Genetec Omnicast, and Envoy.

- Experience with cloud based camera analytics. 

- Experience with integrating security systems across various platforms (facility codes, badge formats, card types, video technologies, visitor management systems, etc.).

- Excellent project management skills with proficiency managing numerous concurrent project deliverables with little supervision.

- Excellent personal communication and diplomacy skills with the ability to work inclusively with others. 

- Proficient with Google Suite.

- Knowledge of IT infrastructure lifecycle management.

- Understanding and familiarity of network architecture with ability to collaborate with cross-functional peers ex. WAN vs LAN, static IPs vs DHCP, MAC addresses, VPNs, firewalls, AD / domains, etc.

- Experience with implementation of mobile credentials is a plus.

- Entertainment/tech industry experience is a plus.
