Summary: Technical Project Manager will act as a Team Lead for the Scrum Master Team, leading key projects and processes, and facilitating Agile ceremonies for the Technology organization at Onbe. Work closely with all levels within Technology and cross-business to identify, implement and align requirements and timelines. Additionally, they must be a collaborative self-starter comfortable with change and building scalable processes in an environment of fast growth.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a Team Lead to the Scrum Master Team and supports one or more dedicated Agile teams within a large program.
  • Implement and follow established processes while identifying areas in established process/governance frameworks that have opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement efficiency improvements across multiple areas.
  • Ensure visibility of all projects and KPIs to both stakeholder teams and leadership—responsibility to escalate critical risks and issues.
  • Creates and maintains technical project plans, processes, and governance frameworks. Outlines high-level phases, deadlines, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Supervises the day-to-day progress of project activity.
  • Removes impediments and manages cross-team dependencies. Schedule, liaison, and lead meetings with architecture, infrastructure, security, product, and PMO teams to address dependencies and solve issues.
  • Leads meetings to review product requirements, technical designs, and test plans to ensure the team understands scope and success criteria.
  • Participate in the initial planning and create a project charter, project plan, risk logs, communication plan, and technical tasks.
  • Facilitate and participate in agile ceremonies, such as sprint grooming.
  • Ensures on-time delivery of working software within budget and scope.
  • Understand features, predict risks, and drive Agile principles in the team.
  • Allocates tasks, prioritize features and manages risk.
  • Support the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables and helping to implement an effective system of project governance.

Qualifications

  • Eight years of Project Management or Scrum Master experience.
  • Project Management degree or related technical field required.
  • Professional Project Management Certification from accredited intuition preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MS Project, and MS Office suite.

The base salary range for this position is between $112,770 to $150,360, with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand. This position can be office-based, hybrid, or fully remote in the continental United States. Onbe’s employee base is mostly clustered in the Eastern and Central time zones, with offices in suburban Philadelphia and suburban Chicago. Some periodic travel will be required.
