Temporary Field Helper (Construction/Carpentry/Locksmith Experience Preferred)

Dori Doors & Security, Inc. is a full-service door company based in New York City, specializing in high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality projects across Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs. We are currently hiring a seasonalTemporary Field Helperto support our NYC installation team. While driving is part of this role, this is not just a driving position — we are specifically looking for someone with hands-on experience in construction, locksmithing, carpentry, or glazing. You’ll be assisting with deliveries, supporting field technicians on job sites, and working directly on high-end door installations. This is a great opportunity for someone with trade experience looking to grow within the architectural and specialty door industry. Key Responsibilities: Transport equipment and materials to/from job sites using company vehicles Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials Support technicians during door installations and service visits Operate tools, ladders, and lifting equipment safely Follow safety protocols and help protect company property (vehicles, tools, etc.) Assist warehouse and logistics teams with materials, recycling, or equipment handling Qualifications: Hands-on experience in construction, locksmithing, carpentry, glazing, or a related trade (required) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required) Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs and working in physical, outdoor conditions Familiarity with hand tools and power tools Strong attention to detail and reliability Good communication and team collaboration skills, English is a must. Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus Schedule & Details: Monday to Friday In-person, based out of our Bronx warehouse Must be able to commute to job sites across NYC $24.00 – $25.00/hour This role is initially offered as a temporary position, with the potential to transition into a permanent role depending on performance and experience evaluation.
