Test Engineer (ERP)

The Test Engineer (ERP) is responsible to work closely with the SAP team, as well as other business and technology teams, to learn and understand the current O.C. Tanner processes, as well as testing any changes made in our Order to Cash or Procure to Pay processes. This engineer will be an integral part of testing the major backend processes that make O.C. Tanner run.

Responsibilities:

• Write and review automated scripts and test cases based on functional specifications for testing within SAP.
• Create test data based on test case specifications.
• Work closely with the Middleware Test Engineer to help with validating data and interactions.
• Test BAPIs/RFCs in SAP that integrate with other systems.
• Be responsible for performing system integration, performance, user acceptance and regression testing.
• Document and report bugs in the code.
• Document all test results and communicate these results to all stakeholders.
• Participate in all the Test Engineering team related activities.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of SAP test experience.
• Solid understanding of business processes in SD-WMS and MM (inventory management, direct and indirect purchasing), PP, Finance.
• Hands-on testing experience in the above SAP modules.
• Strong knowledge of the Order to Cash and Procure to Pay processes.
• SAP Automation experience with any tools like Tosca, Selenium or similar industry standard automation tools.
• Strong database skills and knowledge to query SAP data.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and SQA methodologies as well as experience testing on agile and DevOps teams.
• Strong knowledge and experience in test case management and test result reporting.
• Experience working with creation of tickets and bugs in Jira.
• Basic understanding and usage of Solution Manager.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Individual contributor who can work with very little supervision.
• Strong experience with system upgrade testing.
• Nice to have - Experience with testing other SAP products (e.g., S/4HANA, CPQ, Hybris, etc.)
