• Lead and coordinate all quality assurance activities throughout the software testing lifecycle, including planning, execution, defect management, and closure.
• Design, review, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts with a strong focus on backend systems and database validation.
• Execute advanced backend testing activities, including SQL query validation, data integrity testing, stored procedure validation, performance testing, and security verification.
• Conduct exploratory, functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure system reliability and seamless user experiences.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to identify, analyze, and resolve defects efficiently.
• Monitor testing progress, quality metrics, and overall project status while communicating updates to stakeholders.
• Implement and promote QA best practices, testing standards, and process improvements aligned with organizational and industry standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality, testing efficiency, and delivery outcomes.

Requirements:

• 8–10 years of experience in software quality assurance with strong expertise in backend testing and database validation.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience writing and executing complex queries across database platforms such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) methodologies and quality assurance best practices.
• Experience testing backend components including data validation, stored procedures, triggers, integrations, and database performance.
• Proven experience leading QA processes for complex web applications and enterprise-level systems.
• Familiarity with test management platforms and defect tracking tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a fully remote setup.
