Trade Marketing Manager - Italy

REMOTE, but must live in Italy
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and develop the overall trade and channel marketing strategy in partnerships with the retailers/ distributors and in collaboration with JUUL sales and marketing teams
- Create innovative new tactics for retail partners including promotions, trade/ retailer engagement programmes and other incentive to drive retailer share of mind and voice
- Develop field marketing process and plans including management of third party field marketing/ support agencies
- Work with internal and external partners on the development and delivery of sales and trade marketing assets to support sales initiatives, sales force tools (presentations, sales sheets, promotional/programme guides), trade programmes and retailer engagement collateral
- Become the product expert for Sales and Retailer needs, develop training programs
- Develop and execute plans for engagement with the trade press
- Assist in development and execution of trade marketing tactics including product launch, activation
- Complete competitor benchmarking for similar activities and report regularly to key stakeholders
Reporting:
- Communicate all programs, developments and post-promotion analysis on a regular basis
- Ensure each initiative has clear metrics and is achieving an appropriate return on investment in line with overall objectives
- Deliver regular reporting of results against metrics, with proposals for improvements
- Carry out post campaign analysis to report KPIs and distribute learning for future campaigns
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in Trade Marketing
- Understand retail, passionate about trade and channel marketing
- Fluent in English
- Strong eye for detail and process management
- Project management, ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously with excellent personal organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Test and learn mindset
- Work cross-functionally within a medium-sized, flexible organization, be comfortable with rapidly changing diverse needs and projects
- Creativity, ability to develop creative initiatives that resonates with the target audience to achieve campaign goals
- Problem solving and analytical skills, ability to leverage quantitative analysis to drive insights & findings
- Self-starter - Effective working independently and ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentsÂ
