- Hospital is a regional health care facility located in the heart of the Potomac Highlands.
- The hospital serves Grant, Hardy, and Pendleton Counties with OB/GYN service also in Hampshire and Mineral Counties.
- Grant Memorial Hospital is licensed for 60 beds and employs over 350 professionals that provide nurturing care to those needing hospital services.
- Job Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year experience.
- Experience in Outpatient Surgery (OPD), Preop and PACU for call outs is highly preferred but not required.
- Schedule Information
- Monday-Friday 6:45-3:15
- Weeknight/Call Requirements: Yes-around 10-11 days of call a month including weekends. Call is 3p-7a.
- Weekend/Call Requirements: Yes, every 3rd weekend Friday 3p to Mon 7a.
- Holiday/Call Requirements: Yes, staff cover at least 2 holidays a year.
- Call response time: 30 min response time.
- Unit Specific Information
- Floating Requirements: OPD (outpatient surgery), Preop and PACU for callouts.
- Additional Details
- Department: Operating Room | RN
- # Suites: 3 OR rooms and 1 endo room.
- Average # of cases per day: 6-25 depending on specialty.
- Common Cases: Endoscopes, Cataracts, Lap Choles, lap appys, C-Section, Tubal Ligation, Hysteroscopy, D7C, Endometrial Ablation, Total Joints, Shoulder and Knee scopes, Fractures, Excision, No robotics.
- Scrubbing required - RN's: No scrubbing required.
- EMR: MedHost
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Grey scrubs-provided.
- Unit/Department specific orientation: 2 days max to float with someone.
