UI/UX and Business Process Designer
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced UI/UX designer who can help us design new business processes and interfaces to manage these processes. Reply Pro is an omnichannel CX management platform for local businesses. We help location-based SMBs (Small & Medium Businesses) create great customer experiences (CX). Our mission is to help our clients bridge the gap between customer expectations and their reality. We use software to give customers a great experience every time they interact with the business. Our core offering is an End-to-End CX management SAAS platform. From review management to customer support to post-purchase surveys, we make it simple for businesses to engage with customers across many digital channels. This platform serves our clients primarily in the hospitality industry. And we work with several large brands in the U.S., Europe, and Australia. Key Responsibilities Our goal for filling this role is to create client-centric processes and UI for our clients. In turn, to help our clients deliver world-class experiences to their customers. You will be responsible for understanding the needs of our clients so you can propose and implement new processes. You will get to design UI/UX for tools that automate many processes. In this role, you will design and implement solutions to business problems. The following are examples of the kinds of projects you will immediately be working on: It currently takes us weeks or months to onboard a new client. Our inefficient onboarding slows down our pace of growth. You will be helping us identify the biggest blockers and design a process to onboard new clients in less than one week. You will also create the UI for internal tools to facilitate onboarding. We are struggling to service our largest clients. You will design processes and tools to alert us when pending tasks break our SLA(s) (Service Level Agreements). You will design new reports and dashboards. The analytics we produce are critical to our largest clients. They use our reporting to make decisions around management and operations. You will design tools and interfaces to manage the settings for thousands of digital channels. You will assist us in designing new interfaces for our omnichannel inbox. The goal is to speed up the process of responding to thousands of customers each day. You will help us scope and design new products for form, task, and workflow management. Your responsibilities will include: Understanding in depth the needs of the business as well as the needs of our clients. Improving our product UI/UX as well as our business processes. Creating process flow diagrams for new and existing processes. Designing new UIs and art assets using tools such as XD, Figma, and Illustrator. Meeting regularly with our clients to understand their needs. Occasionally joining our CEO in sales calls to understand new client needs. Working with our leadership team to expand our brand guide. Enforcing our style and brand guide across all our applications, messages, and marketing materials. Collaborating with engineers to ensure that your UI/UX designs get implemented to specification. Creating prototypes of new UIs Tirelessly advocating for our clients and users to provide the best experience To be successful in this role, you must be self-driven. You must possess the ability to take action, even when you lack all the information you need. The kinds of problems we deal with are ambiguous. Thus, nobody will be giving you step-by-step instructions. You will devise solutions to business and UX problems using your experience, research, and expertise. It is imperative that you are strongly motivated to learn and grow. You will experience a fast-paced work environment. You must be willing to deliver strong results in half the time that a reasonable person would think is possible. We have a strong vision and direction. And we are hellbent on turning our ideas into reality. Reply Pro is the type of place where you get years of experience in a few months. You will report directly to our CTO. You will work closely with our visionary CEO and Customer Care team. In your first 90 days, you will work primarily with our CTO to address our most critical needs. This collaboration will also serve as your training. Key Qualifications First and foremost, we are looking for a burning desire to learn, grow, and be part of a grand vision. The ideal candidate will also have good time-management and communication skills. We are looking for candidates with these attributes: At least two years of experience as a UI/UX designer (design portfolio required) An eye for typography, color, and design hierarchy An understanding of accessibility and UX best practices An ability to break down complex requirements into projects and tasks A can-do attitude Tolerance for the fast pace of a growing company Startup and/or early growth stage experience A willingness to take risks, fail and learn from mistakes A desire to master process improvement methodologies, such as 5 Whys Analysis, DMAIC, and BPM An ability to deal with ambiguity Curiosity Skills A solid understanding of UI/UX best practices Expert at using tools such as Figma (preferred), Adobe XD, and Illustrator An understanding of user flow and wireframe creation Experience using process design tools such as Draw.io, Miro, or LucidChart An ability to communicate technical concepts in plain English Proficient English writing skills to produce business cases, documentation, and project proposals Nice-to-Have Skills Report/dashboard/data visualization design HTML5/CSS3 Typescript with React or Vue Knowledge of process design using process flow diagrams Process management Git/Github GraphQL Relay Netlify What We Offer 100% remote role Schedule flexibility 15 days PTO per year 10 paid national holidays (of your choosing) per year Growth opportunities
