UX/Product Designer
Join us as a UX/Product Designer on our Product Experience team. This will be a US Remote position.
How youâll make a impact
Youâll be essential to ensuring that our product solutions are optimized for customer needs, and that we position people for success in attaining their goals through Boomi. This role reports to Sr. Manager UX/Product Design. Youâll be working side-by-side with other Product Designers, as well as the UX Researchers, Design Technologists, Content Strategists, and Technical Writers that comprise the UX Organization. We are a fluid, collaborative, cross-functional team â youâll also be working closely with Product Owners, Quality Engineers, and Developers.
What youâll do:
Understand technological concepts and communicate them simply, in visual form, with minimal guidance
Collaborate and communicate across teams and roles: we operate in alignment to the Product Triad modelÂ
Design with consistency, and an attention to detail
Exhibit familiarity of qualitative research methods, and know how to design evidence-based solutions
Contribute to our Design System, UI Guidelines, and their maintenance
Design inclusively, with a demonstrated understanding of WCAG 2.1
Think both conceptually and pragmatically about product strategy to ensure that Boomi remains an industry leader
The experience you bring:
2+ years of professional experience in the design of complex business systems and applications, or product development, with some experience leading those efforts
Strong empathy for our customers, the ability to understand their needs, and manifest them in optimally-designed experiences (sketches, wireframes, and prototypes)
Exceptional verbal and visual communication skills, along with presentation and negotiation skills
A demonstrated understanding of excellence over perfection â you must be comfortable working nimbly, with âjust enoughâ data to make informed decisions and operate within a fast-paced agile environment
1+ years of experience in a ânicheâ area of strength, e.g., technical abilities, familiarity with HTML and CSS, conceptual design abilities, visual design, design systems, or content strategy
Involvement in the UX community
Work samples and/or case studies that show us how you work through the process, and the outcome of those efforts

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Base compensation for this position in our corporate headquarters in Chesterbrook, PA begins at $85,626. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidateâs knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
