The Chewy Health team is focused on advancing how veterinarians and pet parents care for pets and are on a multi-year journey to enhance the experience of working with veterinarians to keep pets happy and healthy.  

As part of this mission, the Chewy Health team is hiring a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to help us build a suite of services that enable pet customers to engage with their veterinarian through every step of their pet parent journey.  This position is a unique opportunity to work with one of the most dynamic and innovative teams at Chewy and will be based in South Florida.

What You'll Do: 

As a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, you will be an advocate for high-quality pet healthcare while embodying the Chewy culture to work collaboratively with your peers and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.  Doctor of Veterinary Medicine is responsible for the following:

  • Collaborate with Chewy Health team members on the development of current and new services and products. 
  • Provide subject matter expertise on companion animal health and wellness for Chewy Health, while championing proactive and consistent pet healthcare
  • Participate in program development and enhancing training procedures. 
  • Identify and triage platform improvements and support innovative advancements. 
  • Leverage accredited skills to develop programming, policies and services that deliver an unparalleled client experience.

What You'll Need: 

  • A DVM/VMD degree with an active license (dependent on location). 
  • Proficient computer skills, as this role will require interacting with customers and Chewy team members through various digital channels.
  • Proven experience in embracing forward thinking and curiosity.
  • Exemplary listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask comfortably.
  • Experience and comfort in collaborating with colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
  • Passion for helping people and pets with empathy and excellent customer service focus.
