We are recruiting for a Vice President to lead the Financial Planning and Analysis and Business Intelligence functions for G-P.

The role will be responsible for all FP&A and Business Intelligence areas, leading a team that provides financial analysis, insights and business intelligence that support decision making and helps ensure alignment of planned actions and targets to company goals.

As a key member of the Finance leadership team, the VP will have exposure to all aspects of the business and will partner cross functionally across the organization to help delivering operational excellence. Reporting to the CFO of G-P, the VP will provide key leadership and support to the CFO, the management team and senior business leaders, working closely with the broader finance team and other key stakeholders in the business.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills with proven experience at building relationships across functions and levels throughout the organization and marshaling those resources to get things done and drive business analyses. Not satisfied with a quick answer, they will demonstrate the professional curiosity to dig a bit deeper into the true driver of a situation. Previous experience in SaaS companies is a plus, albeit not essential. Additionally, we are seeking an experienced leader with strong management and leadership skills who can lead all daily activities for, and development of, a team of global employees.

This position requires a strategically minded and accomplished finance professional with a track record of delivering consistent results in dynamic, high-growth businesses and setting up efficient processes and procedures.

What this role will lead:

  • Reporting directly into the CFO, this position is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the Financial Planning & Analysis and Business Intelligence functions, including the management and development of the team, setting up efficient processes, systems, reporting and procedures
  • Drive the annual operating budget process, long range plan and periodic forecasting process to ensure all departments and operations are executing to the financial plan. Partner and align the FP&A team with senior leaders across each function to understand key business drivers, ensure accountability and support senior management in making timely and accurate decisions
  • Develop integrated and scalable financial systems that provide highly predictable and understandable financial results
  • Ensure timely and accurate budget vs actual analysis and future projections
  • Responsible for creating KPI and dashboard framework such that all KPIs have definitions and are integrated into the Company's financial model
  • Develop internal reporting packages, dashboards and monthly reports to support decision making; Collaborate with internal customers to develop analyses that lead to actionable insights
  • Coordinate and prepare monthly board package for review and analysis by the Board of Directors
  • Work with FP&A team, Controller’s Group and Business teams to ensure data integrity and consistency across the Company
  • Prepare analysis supporting key strategic decisions such as addressable markets, valuations, rate of return analysis, payback periods, etc.
  • Partner with internal and external investor relations team.
  • Partner with Controllers on cash management and cash flow forecasting.
  • Deliver clear, reliable metrics to internal customers; manager the Business Intelligence Business Partners that support the business functions
  • Identifying and driving cross-functional initiatives to improve process, systems, and automation to help the business scale
  • Direct the daily activities and the career development of team members[SN1]
  • Ad hoc reporting and special projects

Success Factors helping you:

  • BA/BS in Business, preferably in Finance and /or Accounting
  • 15+ years in a FP&A role; 10+ years leadership experience required
  • Excellent financial modeling experience and skills
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills are required to integrate and interpret data from diverse sources.
  • Global software company experience preferred
  • Experience supporting IPO preparation or public company experience is a strong plus
  • Track record of driving positive results in hands-on environments
  • Demonstrated success in consistently producing timely and highly predictable financial models.
  • Experience with Anaplan, Adaptive insights or other financial planning tools
  • Experience with Tableau or other similar tools
  • Knowledge of and prior experience with data warehouse environments
  • Knowledge of reporting tools and querying applications
  • Ability to convert and present analyzed data into useful information
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and data models
  • Superior communication (oral and written), organization, and project management skills; comfortable interacting with executive-level management
