About the Position:
G-P is looking for a Vice President, Business Development to lead our global BDR team.
In this role, you will get to:
- Lead and manage a global team of BDRs, partnering with Demand Generation to drive sales-ready leads into the pipeline.
- Drive an achieve BDR business outcomes against corporate goals.
- Coach and develop a team of managers. ensuring quota attainment
- Collaborate with the Talent acquisition team to meet staffing requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the enablement team to develop and maintain a best-in-class training program.
- Collaborate with the people team on BDR org design, career pathing, talent development, and retention strategies.
- Develop and monitor KPI’s and OKR’s
- Design and set compensation plans and quota structures.
- Effectively partner with other revenue teams to execute on our comprehensive GTM plan with an emphasis on BDR organization.
- Develop and maintain a simple predictable lead generation process.
- Development accurate forecasting models
- Contribute to ad hoc projects.
- Motivate the BDR team with a results driven can do attitude.
- Build out the ABM strategy, targeting our highest-priority accounts, as part of our overall Outbound marketing strategy
- Drive a significant percentage of our new business through BDR channel.
- “Train the Trainer” bringing best in class outbound strategies, enabling the team to hit the large global targets.
- Work with our global Partner team to help support partner growth though outbound initiatives.
- Build a high performing team through establishing efficient operating mechanisms and KPIs.
- Deliver ongoing feedback to team members on all aspects of the sales process, including customer engagement, outreach volume and methodology, qualification processes, product positioning, negotiation, and closing strategies.
- Build a team that grows into highly impactful Sales Executives, Customer Success Managers and leaders. Develop the next generation of diverse G-P Sales and Management talent.
- Work closely and collaborate with sales leadership, marketing, revenue operations, enablement, People Business Partners and Recruiting teams as key partners in hitting team goals.
- Foster a healthy organizational culture and strong learning environment. Organize and lead regular training and staff meetings to motivate and maximize productivity while fostering teamwork.
We are looking for people who have:
- 10-15+ years leading a successful team of BDR’s
- People management experience at scale and a passion for creating a diverse and inclusive team with prior experience in Tech/SaaS space.
- Experience leveraging data and systems in innovative ways to drive growth and scale.
- Extensive knowledge of sophisticated sales tech stack to drive efficiency.
- A strong track record of growth and overachieving targets in a high velocity, high-growth business
- A proven playbook for hiring, coaching, and mentoring GTM teams.
- The ability to motivate and align a team to a vision and manage effectively through change.
- A Team builder with excellent motivation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Exceptional quantitative and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and cross functional management experience.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change course as needed.
Compensation
The annual gross base salary range for this position is $180,000 to $217,000. Actual compensation for this position may vary and will depend on multiple factors including relevant qualifications, experience, education and geographic location. This position is also eligible for a commission structure in addition to base salary.
