The Role
Deputy is expanding our US sales team and we are in search of a leader with a genuine passion for tackling our customers’ challenges and building solutions. As the VP of Sales, you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving the expansion of our SMB, Mid-Market and Enterprise businesses in North America. In this role, you’ll drive growth by developing and implementing top-tier sales processes, ensuring the sustained long-term well-being of both the team and the business. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a keen eye for identifying and cultivating top talent and has a strong track record of exceeding revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed revenue targets, maximizing sales efficiency to establish a foundation for scalable growth
- Define the strategic sales plan for the US from SMB to Enterprise businesses and provide thought leadership on the strategic direction of the business
- Coach, mentor, and motivate a remote-first sales team
- Execute team priorities and proactively identify and resolve roadblocks
- Collaborate closely with our cross-functional partners including Marketing, Support, Customer Success, Product, and Operations teams to ensure optimal functionality and alignment within the team.
- Evaluate customer needs, collect feedback, and enhance existing solutions. Design and iterate our sales process based on insights gathered.
- Establish product and market requirements to ensure future growth and success
Qualifications and Requirements
- Extensive experience in a leadership role and demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing sales teams
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with overall business goals with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify market opportunities and drive revenue growth
- Proven ability to recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team
- Experience in designing and optimizing sales processes for efficiency and effectiveness
- Ability to represent the company at a senior level and build relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the sales function
The pay range for this position takes into account multiple factors that are all considered to determine an individual candidate’s starting pay. These factors include but are not limited to market factors, experience, technical and non-technical skills, education, certifications, and other business acumen. This range does not include any potential incentive programs, such as individual or organizational performance bonuses.Â
The pay range for this position is $230,567 - $265,000. Commission potential for the role is $153,712 - $176,680 with potential for more if individual quotas are exceeded. All commissions earned are subject to the terms and conditions of your individual Commission Plan.
