We're looking for a Vice President of Talent Acquisition to help us transform the way primary care is delivered and how patients are served. This leader will report to the Chief HR Officer and will serve as a key partner to the VillageMD and Village Medical leadership teams in building a world class recruiting function and candidate experience that will drive aggressive growth as our model continues to scale.

As the Vice President, Talent Acquisition you will be a hands-on leader owning the strategic design and execution of talent acquisition initiatives for the medical group, shared services, and corporate functions. This leader will be trusted to balance ownership for driving strategic partnerships with our Operations leaders while developing and executing against a high-volume recruiting strategy. You will be accountable for strategy design, but also multiple market implementations and innovation on channel strategy and process unique to market characteristics. You will work with your team to develop talent attraction strategies for our key talent pools while also establishing and innovating on the processes, systems, tools and culture that will create a long-term candidate pipeline. A successful candidate for this role will be an experienced, agile, results-oriented, collaborative leader who is excited to create nimbly and see the impact of their work on our organization.
How you can make a difference
- Develop a comprehensive, long-term recruitment strategy to support the clinical, non-clinical, and operational resource requirements necessary to meet the talent needs of our scaling medical group
- Design an exceptional candidate experience that wows every candidate, brings to life Village’s mission and values in our people approach, and ensures high acceptance rates of top talent
- Engage senior leadership as partners in attracting and hiring the right talent, putting in place the systems and supports that will yield the best outcomes
- Develop targeted strategies to meet high-volume recruiting needs that respond to market dynamics at the regional and local levels that emphasize VillageMD’s vision and differentiate us in the healthcare space
- Establish a data-oriented recruiting approach that leverages analytics and industry benchmarks to provide insights, decision support and drive accountability
- Identify relevant industry trends or market obstacles and proactively communicate to leadership including market findings, candidate reaction to the opportunity, compensation data, etc.
- Build strategic and equitable search strategies that recognize diversity and skill gaps in concert with our Talent Development and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion teams
- Track data and metrics to continuously improve our processes, establish internal benchmarks and understand what great looks like, and educate the team on how to leverage data to better manage their workloads and drive value in interactions with the business
- Hire, train and provide outstanding leadership to a Talent Acquisition team that you will be able to create and design the way you’ve always wanted to see it done

Experience to drive change
- Minimum of 10 years of recruiting experience with proven, measurable success recruiting high volume clinical and non-clinical or operations roles for a medical group and/or in a fast-paced, hypergrowth environment
- You have 5+ years designing, leading, and scaling recruiting teams
- Ability to work with--and influence--multiple facets of the organization (i.e. across function, level, location, etc.) and tailor communication based on the audience
- Healthcare industry expertise or personal interest in/connection to the healthcare industry
- An aptitude for using data and reports to educate and influence leaders throughout the recruitment process
- Ability to operationalize industry best practices and codify them into repeatable systems, manage and improve them over time
- Extreme flexibility and the desire to be a key contributor to an energetic and passionate team of recruiters
- Ability to travel nationally as needed
- Bachelor’s degree required
