Video Editor / Motion Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Video Editor / Motion Designer based in India.

This is a fast-paced creative role focused on turning raw product and startup material into compelling short-form videos. You will shape everything from AI product demos to social media clips, launch content, and founder-led storytelling. The work sits at the intersection of design, motion, and storytelling, where taste and speed matter as much as technical execution. You’ll be expected to take rough inputs and transform them into polished, engaging visuals that feel modern, premium, and highly watchable. The environment is dynamic, experimental, and heavily focused on iteration and improvement. It’s a role for someone curious about AI, startups, and the tools shaping how products are built and shared today.

• Own the full video creation process from concept and rough cut to final delivery, ensuring each output aligns with brand tone and quality standards
• Transform raw footage, screen recordings, interviews, and product materials into engaging short-form content optimized for social and marketing use
• Develop motion design elements, pacing, transitions, captions, and sound integration to elevate storytelling and viewer engagement
• Collaborate on video ideas for product launches, ads, social campaigns, and brand storytelling initiatives
• Iterate quickly based on feedback, maintaining speed without compromising creative quality or consistency
• Ensure every piece of content remains visually cohesive, polished, and aligned with evolving creative direction

Requirements:

• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, rhythm, and overall aesthetic judgment
• Proficiency with tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, or similar editing and motion design software
• Ability to adapt quickly to new creative tools, especially AI-assisted editing, motion, and design platforms
• Genuine interest in startups, AI, software products, and modern digital tools
• Strong communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English
• High ownership mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
• Comfortable handling rapid feedback cycles and high-intensity creative workflows
• Portfolio demonstrating motion design or video editing work (especially short-form content)
