The Opportunity: 

The on-site Video Editor/Videographer will be the ‘go to’ person on our rapidly expanding marketing team for editing existing video content as well as creating new content for future events, projects, and campaigns. We are looking for a creative, talented video editor with the ability to shoot great video content that has great communication skills, enthusiasm and is able to work onsite in Columbus, Ohio. This position reports to the VP of Marketing with daily collaboration with our CEO.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and/or Create impactful social video content on a daily basis for multiple social platforms (Youtube, Linkedin, Facebook, etc).
• Shoot/film on site at events and on-sites hosted or attended by Seamless.AI employees
• Work through existing video reels and content to develop micro audio/video clips for social media engagement.
• Come up with creative strategies and brainstorm with the team in a fast paced environment
• Film day in the life type videos, speaking event videos, demos, testimonials, interviews, etc and edit them quickly as projects arise.
• Quickly and effectively identify moments worth creating and formatting for social content for a variety of brands and publications.
• May have to help manage and check the quality of work for freelancer/contract video editors as needs arise.

Skillset:

• Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of video formatting and rendering best practices on email, social and web.
• Fast learner to stay up to date on new technology in video content creation and editing.
• Must be comfortable handling multiple edits at a time under tight turnaround times.
• Strong understanding in ways to create and edit effective micro content, valuable for particular target audience and platforms.
• Strong executional understanding in how to make impactful micro content for specific audiences and platforms
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, receptive of feedback and can adapt to change quickly.
• Able to work well independently and efficiently 
• Knowledge of full frame DSLR, manual settings, audio monitoring, and other audio/visual equipment.

Education and Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience editing/creating video content
• Associates/Bachelors degree highly preferred, however not required if skills meet needs and speed of the position
• Must be local to the Columbus, OH area and able to work in the office
• Travel will be required
