Video Marketing Producer

Alma is seeking an experienced Video Producer to join our growing Content Marketing team.

In this new position, you’ll lead the discipline of video production as both a people manager and a video producer. You’ll help us deliver polished videos and build our capacity for multimedia content production. As a people manager, you’ll deliver high-quality mentorship and empathetic support, beginning with an incoming Social Video Producer. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Content Marketing and collaborate frequently with Creative and Consumer Growth Marketing teams.

This candidate is a storyteller first, a marketer second, and always human-centric. You’ll have a meaningful influence on a growing team and industry, all in service of advancing access to quality mental health care.

What you’ll do:

• Produce short-form video content from conception, to scripting/storyboarding, to filming, to editing, and distribution. 
• Collaborate across the Content Marketing team to contribute ideas and strategies that will deliver business results.
• Partner closely with teams like Consumer Growth Marketing and Lifecycle Marketing  to organize video needs across the full funnel, serving various campaigns and tests.
• Strategize and execute growth marketing campaigns that use video in email, online ads, and other paid channels.
• Analyze video content performance to inform continuous improvement and experimentation.
• Lead other video producers with mentorship and specialized video leadership opportunities. 
• Uphold Alma’s evolving brand architecture with consistent treatments across varying projects.
• Identify resourcing and tooling needs to build in-house video capabilities efficiently and gradually.
• Teach direct reports and others how to produce and edit high-quality video content.
• Invest intense energy in people development for your direct report.

Who you are:

• You have 3-5 years of post-production experience proven by a diverse portfolio of videos you’ve created.
• You have 1+ year of experience working with animation and/or motion graphics, and you might have experience with pre-production and filming.
• You have experience identifying resources and tools to  ensure the video production team is set up for success. 
• You have 1 or more years of experience working as a fully-dedicated video producer.
• You are excited by the responsibility of people management. You may have past experience teaching, training, or mentoring others at work. First-time people managers are welcome to apply.
• You have a demonstrated ability to connect video content with business results like demand generation, brand awareness, and customer acquisition.

Salary Band: $100,000 - $125,000
