Summary :
Engadget is adding a videographer to its small but mighty video team. We're looking for someone versatile who can shoot and edit. This is a great opportunity for a versatile videographer to direct a diverse slate of talent and help shape the look and feel of Engadget's various video offerings.
Responsibilities :

• Shoot and/or edit a variety of videos that include product reviews and hands-ons, short-form news recaps, op-eds, buying guides, event supercuts and event livestreams, including a weekly live podcast. The video team occasionally produces longer-form reported projects as well.
• Script editing, directing talent, operating cameras, still photography, lighting, sound, editing in Adobe Premiere, creating graphics in Adobe After Effects.
• There is room for this producer to appear on camera sometimes, and even potentially star in their own recurring series. We are eager to hear your ideas.

Requirements :

• 3-5 years of experience in video production.
• Appear in the NYC office on a weekly basis
• A familiarity with and sincere interest in consumer technology.
• Comfort working on potentially multiple projects at once, some of which will be produced on tight deadlines.
• Experience with script editing, directing talent, operating cameras, still photography, lighting, sound, editing in Adobe Premiere and graphics in Adobe After Effects
• Travel to industry events (when safe!) will sometimes be required.
• Works well with others, and is receptive to feedback

If hired for this position in Colorado, the compensation range for this position is between $56,625.00 - $94,375.00. The compensation may vary depending on your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include additional incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, plus equity incentives.
