As our VP, Client Service Leader you will…
Be Accountable and Responsible
- Serve as strategic advisor to lead and partner with retail, consumer, e-commerce clients, creating & implementing strategic and tactical plans to help clients drive business performance & achieve their objectives while inspiring a highly-collaborative multi-disciplinary agency talent experience.
- Build a highly-trusted, inspired & motivating environment that makes great work possible and delights clients.
- Lead quarterly and annual brand planning and oversee the development of strategic initiatives and roadmaps
- Engage in regular ideation and creative problem-solving with channel leads
- Effectively deliver presentations and proactively guides clients along a progress roadmap.
- Be responsible for the overall health and relationship of all clients in their portfolio
- Identify opportunities and organically grow the business
- Partner effectively with account directors, channel leads, strategic planning, creative, and other team members
- Understand the client business holistically, beyond advertising, and where they are on the digital maturity scale, to provide strategic considerations/solutions as required
- Attract, develop, and retain talent building a track record of developing leaders
- Manage a select number of client service team members, across multiple office locations
These are the qualifications we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 12+ years of advertising agency experience with at least 7+ years in a leadership role
- Expertise in retail marketing and e-commerce with experience across multiple channels including paid media, affiliate marketing, email, SEO, analytics, audience strategies, and brand strategies
- Proven track record of delivering business results and organic growth
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple pieces of business and projects simultaneously
- Ability to establish strong relationships with clients, including C level, delivering strategically-sound recommendations and thought leadership in support of their business
- Natural problem solver who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
Compensation: $146,000 - $175,000
Salary differential is based on seniority, merit, education, training and experience. MERGE’s career ladders reflect department growth from Associate through Partner levels, with details of roles and responsibilities associated with each level. New hires are assigned a job level within a particular position based on these criteria and salary is set within the job level based on these criteria. Growth from one level to the next occurs when employees master their role, and are promoted into the next level, generally during salary review cycles which are posted in the employee handbook.
